The most significant new features are the handling of domainadmins and alias support. The code for languages and charsets was completely rewritten, and now supports 18 different languages. A lot of code cleanup and bugfixes have been done.
Some minor bugfixes have been made. A Norwegian translation has been added. This is the last pre-release before 0.5.4-final; users are asked to test this version intensively.
Administrator handling was rewritten. The search
function was improved. MD5 was added to the
password encryption lib. Countless other bugs have
been solved. i18n strings are now frozen to allow
translators to update the po files for the final
release.
In this version, domain admins can now be responsible
for more than one domain, there is enhanced aliases
support, there is
a new naming scheme for accounts, there is a display
of the last login, there is language selection on login,
there are Dutch and Spanish translations, and there are
countless small bugfixes and enhancements.
