This release has significant reporting improvements including custom prompt forms, outline generation, and Web-based reports. The Web client adds attachments and basic traceability. This release adds user-defined fields, along with tools to select an existing artifact to duplicate the form controls and position level security. New controls are available to add from templates. There are numerous bugfixes for usability, and an extended scope for the software baseline.

This release brings significant performance improvements for managing large numbers of artifacts through caching and dynamic tree loading. New functionality to design custom reports using XML direct from business services simplifies report writing significantly over SQL queries. Apart from a number of bugfixes, the ability to add new UI controls and provide fine grained security through scripting is the third major improvement.

This version adds a traceability tree to ease
auditing and tracing artifacts, a change
management module, and a language CSV
import/export tool. On the system admin side, you
can copy an artifact type's form controls from one
artifact to another, streamlining customizing
forms. Change management views are custom defined
using scripting. Artifacts can be sequenced in the
tree (up/down), and additional import/export
options were added. Numerous bugfixes are also
included.

The user interface was enhanced with usability
improvements. The hierarchy of artifacts responds
correctly to changes, and you can cycle through
search/filter results using Previous/Next.
Multiple artifacts may now be traced, moved, or
deleted. Bug with attachment storage were fixed.

A Web server/browser client was added to the Swing/J2EE configuration. PostgreSQL database support was added. An upgrade and database migration tool was provided. A report writer with custom report creation capability was bundled. Enhanced position security for customizing views, forms, and controls was implemented.
