Project Description

NoTA ("Network on Terminal Architecture") is an open architecture for communication between (embedded) devices. These devices can implemented in either software or hardware, and run on a variety of platforms. Furthermore, NoTA supports different transport media such as TCP, USB, and Bluetooth. More can be added. Devices are things like video processors, storage systems, and audio subsystems. One way to think about it: NoTA wants to be for devices what Web-services are for the Web.
