Project Description

kppp_logger uses the kppp program to
establish a ppp connection to your ISP, and
then keeps track of how long you remain
connected. The result is saved into a log. This
is designed to prevent the standard shock that
occurs when the phone bill arrives. It can be
used under any window manager, not just
KDE's.

Some code which generated erorrs during
compilation with gcc 3.2 was added and removed. A
minor --total bug was fixed. The kppprc_change.sh
script was removed, due to changes in third party

The logging doesn't start until there actually is a PPP connection, and the logging ends within three seconds after the connection is lost. The code has been cleaned up, and some lazily written code has been redone (all but one system() call has been removed). Man pages, a --total option, and multi-user support have been added. The code has been rebuilt to ease bug tracking, and is commented a bit better.
