Project Description

Kongoni GNU/Linux is a Desktop Linux distribution primarily developed in Africa with very strong inspiration from the BSD Unix operating systems. It features a live-CD/USB based system with an installer and a ports tree for add-on software and updates. The system follows a combination of rolling release and regular ISOs approach, with new full versions roughly once per year. The distribution is based on Slackware with KDE as the default desktop. Native 32-bit and 64-bit x86 versions are available.
