Project Description

ImPress allows you to create good quality documents using vector graphics. You can use ImPress within a web browser with the Tcl/Tk plugin. It's a reasonable desktop publishing and presentation tool in a small package designed for Linux and for integration with Ghostscript.

In this release OPTIONS have been documented, the
Tk 8.3.2 WYSIWYG patch has been merged, better
Save As handling has been implemented, the window
raise time was improved, and KDE integration is
better. The Template dpi inconsistency, text
window lowering on Open, and the preservation of
font family across text dialog have been fixed.

Rulers are now removed on printing. A TkHtml integration option was added. RPM spec and Makefile changes were made. The Landscape option has returned. Pstoedit and font3d now default to being built statically to avoid problems with C++.
