ADCS is now available (ADC Secure extension). There are important GUI changes. Old clients are not supported anymore (non ADC 1.0 clients), so for the popular client DC++, only 0.704 or newer based clients (around that version) should be used. The port in use bug in the Linux version should be fixed. Chatcontrol bugs should also be fixed.
This is a kind of milestone release, with a lot of
improvements in stability. It has been tested
successfully with 800 users. The most important
reported bugs are gone. There is a small known bug
on Linux and Solaris in which ports are not
released when restarting.
This release has more features. Some bugs in the Theta version have been fixed, and preliminary support for Python scripting has been added. Translation into other languages has begun.
This release brings a lot of new stuff. ADC 1.0 is now officially supported, so please note that older clients will have problems. Namely, they wont be able to use passwords and keys will not be visible. All clients should be updated to to Strongdc 2.1x or Apex DC 1.0B5 or DC++ 0.704 or any other client that supports ADC 1.0. A multiport server is now available. You can set up as many ports as you like. The PING extension is now implemented. You can also autoregister on all the hublists that support it via the PingHH plugin.
