NVIDIA OptimusノートではdGPUで動かないかもしれないと懸念していましたが、無事起動しました。
但し、「NVIDIAコントロールパネル」から、以下の設定を適用しておく必要があります。

「3D設定」→「3D設定の管理」から、「グローバル設定」「プログラム設定」共に「高パフォーマンスNVIDIAプロセッサ」を選択し、
「適用」を押してから、Javieを起動します。
これで、JavieにdGPU適用されますが、排熱管理には十分注意して下さい。

iGPUでは使えなかった機能がほぼ使えるようになり、素材の読み出し速度さえマトモならコマ落ちも殆どなく、概ねリアルタイムでプレビュー出来ます。
