Bugfixes for NarrativeWeb report and book report. Improvements in the database path interface and user preferences. Consistency in Name display and regex support. Some platform-specific fixes for the Windows system environment. GEDCOM fixes including better support for media link and a fix for possibly incorrect family relations. A new language: Greek. Various updated translations.
Upgrading is advised because this release fixes three critical issues: the Merge Citations tool sometimes ignored the presence of Notes when deciding whether to merge citations, errors were made in exportation to XML of family order in 3.4.0, and a crash occurred in MS Windows after some use due to too much terminal output in 3.4.0. Some platform-specific fixes have also been made (Windows, OS X), along with minor bugfixes and translation updates. This release is made in memory of Rob G.Healey.
This feature release adds storing data from large sources, import/export, image handling, gedom handling, Gramplets, date handling, citations, reports, platform-specific fixes (Windows, OS X, Linux), and many translation updates.
This is the second and last bugfix release on the 3.3.x branch.
