evilwm is a minimalist window manager for the X Window System. It maximises screen real estate and provides good keyboard control. It is currently based on aewm.

This release adds minimal EWMH hints so that vdesk/sticky states persist across wm change. Alt+Tab behaviour has been modified (goes in order of last selected). The ability to resize using the keyboard has been added.
The dependency on Motif/LessTif headers has been
removed. There is a simpler approach to alt+tabbing to
shaped windows. Aterm "fast transparency" is supported.
This release fixes bugs in the X error handler (which should be much
more stable now). Shift while closing a window now forces quiting. Larry
Doolittle's shape code has been merged.
This release fixes an Alt+Tab crash bug and shape misbehaviour. It adds per-application geometry/desktop defaults, configurable modifiers, handling of reparent-to-root, and better window size code. Many of Larry Doolittle's patches have been merged.
